Straight to the point; Who here is going to vote in the US's 08 Presidential Election?
Wow, I'm surprised that there are so many people on GS who do and do not vote.

I decided to pass on this one. I'd rather not vote at all instead of voting with the idea of "The less of two evils." FallofAthensThis matters. Never compromise your ideals.
I'll be voting early and often.duxup
You know. You could prolly do that at my voting place.
Everytime there is an election or ballot I walk in and the old ladies slide the rolls over to me and tell me to find my name and sign. Never been ID'd and they don't even look at where I sign.
Oh, and yes I'll be voting.
If people knew about it the advantage would be moot.

Ah-hah! The secret is out. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Maryland always votes democrat for president. I highly doubt that will change this year.Everytime there is an election or ballot I walk in and the old ladies slide the rolls over to me and tell me to find my name and sign. To the five people that voted "no but you can vote" don't come back here and complain about the president if you didn't care enough to vote.

It's not like 5 votes will change anything. Mostly everyone is on the Obama bandwagon. To the five people that voted "no but you can vote" don't come back here and complain about the president if you didn't care enough to vote.

I will not vote on 14th of october... none of the parties really impress me (Canadian election)RedgarlNot even Stephane Dion? He could make Canada a better place(And hopefully spend more on the military).

I love when people say this. As if refusing to vote because you are sick of having to choose between two rich guys who don't care about you or your views or what you think negates my right to hate the one that is elected. I don't vote because this system refuses to give me a candidate that I want to vote for.

Just better hope someone doesn't come in later and see you already signed their name. The could be a funny Seinfeld episode if the person you are signing for is standing behind you.
Where I live my vote is pointless because it always votes one color. I still vote the way I want though.
