I think what the people in the 1800's did to the native americans is the worst thing America, or even the world has ever done... I agree that it was genocide greater than the Holocaust.

People of my race are horrible at sports. I mean all sports. Even amongst the sports we are good at according to our standards....we still stink compared to the rest of the world.

Many of them are racist as hell. They try to push you to marry people who are only from the state YOU are from and speak the same language as you (it doesn't matter if they are from the same country, it needs to be the same state/city you or your parents are from).....pretty ridiculous.

We do well academically, but that's about it. They live sedentary lives (they sit around, study, and eat), which is why there is such a high prevalence of things like heart problems and diabetes.

Very nosy. We judge people based on their grades and will do all we can to find out what a certain person got on some exam.

It is an unspoken rule to always be late. For everything.

During family parties, we are all very polite to each other. But the minute we leave the party or the other people leave our house or something, we talk trash about them.

If you are not a doctor, engineer, lawyer, or CEO of some company, you are a failure.

Many people belonging to my race are very backwards.

Even though whites did some atrocious things in the past, I'm not ashamed of that. Why? Because I didn't take part in any of those actions.

Even though that doesn't justify the actions of past whites, I'm not responsible for the Holocaust or the huge waves of white supremacy post-Civil War. I'm not responsible for the enslavement of blacks in America. Heck, there were free blacks and even a few Native Americans who owned black slaves.

And whites aren't the only race to have done atrocious things.

For example, the Japanese murdered over one million Chinese civilians during the Rape of Nanjing.

Well aside from taking the land from Native Americans, Enslaving Africans, Segregation, and starting the Holocaust? No not really.

Murder in general.

That's stupid. Just because white people came to the Americas doesn't mean it was all white people. I doubt many Europeans that were in central/eastern Europe came along to burden the Natives. So blaming a race for something doesn't quite make sense.

Well in all seriousness, yes... i have my reasons and have a hard time explaining them. (mainly due to how the majority of my race has dealt with heardship... i'm one to blame)

How am i supposed to be ashamed of what Brazilians, Portuguese, French, Blacks, Indians, Germans, Argentines, Italians did??? you must be crazy i'd need to go on Oprah for that much stress.

Nah. The Chinese have done a lot of terrible things in the past century, but I have no relation to most of them other than skin colour.

British- A lot of things
Spanish- pretty much wiping out an entire civilisation
Portuguese- meh nothing wrong in my books
Maori- Demanding everything for free because the British invaded and screwed them over with a Treaty over 100 years ago.

However since all of them happened so long ago, it's really not important to dwell on.

No, I feel no shame for that because I wasn't involved. Was it horrible? Certainly. You have to keep these kinds of things in perspective and be realistic. If you weren't involved, then there's no need to feel guilt about it. Humans of every race, creed and color have done horrible things to each other. It makes me sad and disgusted when I read about or watch shows depicting the horrible things humans have done to one another throughout history, but I certainly don't feel guilt or shame.

I find that humanity is pretty much the scourge of the planet. All races have done terrible things to others at one point or another.
