Are there any types of threads that you avoid?

For me, it's threads about race. Nowadays, I just don't click them because they are always filled with so much ignorance and so many unfair generalizations that I don't even want to deal with it.

What about you?

i avoid the vast majority of threads, and rarely give a ______ about debates these days. i come here to say ridiculous things that i find funny, not to be on a soap box or to make friends.

Same with me. I know very little of religion and politics, so I just stay away.

Yes, I cannot stand Religious or Political threads. There are some other ones that I don't like that pertain to certain groups of people but for the most part the aforementioned threads.

Religion and politics, most of the time. The religion ones especially bring out the obnoxious side in a lot of otherwise cool posters.

News threads where everything you needed to know and then didn't care about is in the title.SolidSnake35

Big threads. After about the third page, everyone gives up reading comments unless they're already engaged in a debate.

If anybody ever discovered the meaning of existance and posted it on Pg 24 of a topic forum, nobody would ever know.

Like most people, I tend to stay out the religious and political threads. They tend to get too heated for me and can bring out the worst in some people.

The OT Marriage threads. I have no problem with jumping into any other kind of popularity thread, but the marriage ones are just embarrassingly awful to read.

Religion and political threads. I also generally don't post in "girl advice" threads, but I read them a lot of the time. I get a kick out of it.
