Are GS mods too strict?

Recently I've been getting modded for seemingly absurb offenses...for example in one thread some user was adverising his ****y youtube band, and I told him "stop spamming, reported" and I got modded for "Intending to annoy other users" :|

I had a big Lol Wut? expression on my face.

And I'm sure you've guys been modded for worse petty offences.

So are Mods out of touch with the forums?

It's not that they're strict, they're just delusional.

its seems they need to go and re-read there own terms of service

i got mod-ed for posting in a account suicide thread and i didn't see it anywhere that i couldn't do so.

No it wouldn't be justified. We're allowed to discuss things of this nature if we wish. If the mods lock this thread, it will prove that they really do single people out for personal reasons.

Besides, you could be talking about cocking a gun or something...or talking about roosters. Who are they to assume you have genitalia slang on the mind? Maybe you could sue them for slander. Exactly. If it was up to me, the TC and everybody who supported the TC in this topic would be hunted down and executed on a live GS OT feed, to instill fear into the other OT users... But that's just me.

No, I agree.

I would totally just hunt down all TOS violators and eviscerate them in front of everybody because if I were a moderator that would mean that I am justice and nothing tastes better than justice. NOTHING.

I think they are a little strict... I haven't been modded in over a year though (except for some glitched moderation that's getting removed from about 8 months ago), so I'm glad about that :)
