Well, those 3 chains suck imo.
But, if you have pizza from a good local place, I think it is better than Italian pizza.
this.I do by far. I really don't like fancy, artisan pizzas.
Pirate700
nope...Chain pizza is disgusting.

I don't care what everyone say's Domino's is the best pizza i've ever had. Always good very cheap and wide selection of toppings. PizzaHut isn't bad but i find myself hardly going there because of how cheap Domino's is.
The best pizza I've ever had was in Munich, which was made by an Italian family.
So you must know where my bias lies.

I don't agree about that chain, but I agree that chain pizza is the best. I'm a Papa John's guy.I don't care what everyone say's Domino's is the best pizza i've ever had. Chicago style pizza I'd say is better than Italian pizza, which is better than other American pizza.
I don't agree about that chain, but I agree that chain pizza is the best. I'm a Papa John's guy.Never tried Papa johns around here. It looks good but the regional pricing is soooo expensive. >.<[QUOTE="TwistedShade"]

Chains are good for what you pay for. Personally I get pizza from independent places. I tend to like American more, but the Italian pizza is also very good, especially when they are cut into squares. I love that. Also, I like the spices and stuff on Italian style.
Finally, Dominoes is the best chain.

It's a pizza you order when you have some friends over the night, not the kind you sit down and savor.[QUOTE="Pirate700"]

Did you just tell us to get a pizza oven? Are you paying?[QUOTE="poptart"]
No. Not that I mind the odd pizza hut or dominos. Get yourself a pizza oven and make your own and you'll find how easy it is to make nicer pizzas than either of those.
Pirate700
I got one in a sale for 80 bucks - cooks a pizza in about 3 mins. Worthwhile investment if you like a liddle pizza...
EDIT:
That's the one right there:
[QUOTE="RealHeisenberg"][QUOTE="DavesAlt"] Elitist snob DavesAltur names dave, what do you know? Lots and lots Some get upset that people think local or other then chain being vastly superior are snobs or something. FoolsNo, we're just hungry.
Do you think American pizza (Pizza Hut, Domino, Papa John's, ect) are more delicious than Italian's pizza ?Zensword
Regular pizza is vastly inferior to deep dish. Deep dish pizza is one of the few foods that's just as good to me now that I'm a vegetarian as it was when I ate meat.

Maybe I just haven't had good deep dish but it's just too spongy for me. I also love a good crust.[QUOTE="theone86"]

Maybe I just haven't had good deep dish but it's just too spongy for me. I also love a good crust. It must not have had enough stuff on it. Lou Malnati's does have sort of a spongy crust, but it's the cheese, garlic, tomato, spinach, and mushrooms that make it. Gino's East has this really thick marinara sauce, so if that's your thing that's the one to try. Giordano's has good marinara too, but their big thing is you can get it stuffed with spinach, onions, mushrooms, tons of stuff. Also, it's really cheesy. If you've had a problem with crusts then you need to try Pequod's, they have a carmelized crust. They only have like two locations in the Chicago suburbs, though, so I don't know how hard it is to try one if you can't get around to Chicago very often. Definitely look them up if you ever come through, though.

Do you agree that frozen pizza is awesome? If so, we're cool.
Are we honestly comparing fast food to authenticate restaurants?

This is OT, and by extension, America. So, apparently.

It often beats chains, but that's not saying much.

I hate Domino's pizza... But their stuffed chessey bread... F-ck I could eat that stuff all day.
If any of you are ever in the southern Ohio... Grab some LaRosa's cheesey flatbread... My god... Stuff is so amazing.
