is in any way is adhd related to alot of sleepiness during class? while in reverse high levels of activity give a peron with adhd a feeling boosted energy. don't question whether i have adhd or not because i do not . i have a very bad concentration problem, and during lessons i sleep even though i have 8+ hours of sleep, however when i'm running around or moving around or playing video games i have a great boost of energy- i have no diagnosis so i can officially be considered adhd free
It probebly has something to do with your blood not moving around quickly in you,blood moves slowly,you feel sleepy.You go to gymn class,your blood gets pumped up and you feel wide awake.At least i think thats how it works.

You make it sounds like you were a potential HIV/AIDS case at one point and time... But seriously, that is not ADHD its lack of willpower like said and just not caring in general.

so u're basically saying that kids who actually have adhd, it's a problem of their will not concentration. i think adhd is a genuine problem
I don't think ADHD is a real problem. I think that it's a result of our society making excuses for people not wanting to work hard.

I've been evaluated as having ADHD but I don't believe in the condition personally. I do have some problems staying awake in class but I also have trouble going to sleep at night. Sometimes it's just easier for me to stay up the whole night rather than sleep for a few hours then try to function off of a few hours of sleep.
Personally, I think what you are experience is not related to ADHD (though it could be). Try googling sleep deficit or sleep debt. It sounds like what's up with you.
just sounds like you are not interested in the class... I would try and stay away from ADHD meds, especially amphetamines, because they tend to make things worst in the long run.
