I never start watching a show until the first season is completed and it has been renewed for at least a second season. Makes it a lot easier not having to watch these broken shows that don't have clear endings.

Yeah... With comedies, networks prefer shows that cater to the lowest common denominator. Like 2 Broke Girls. :roll:It's so, so true. If Joe Mouthbreather can't get the humor, it doesn't last a season.

I loved Rules of Engagement (Timmy was my favorite character) but only got to see one new episode from this season and I'm already in season 6 on Netflix. I only got to see one episode of Malibu Country (BIG Reba fan) since I had never heard of it. And I only saw two episodes of another comedy I had never heard of. All were canned. All were very funny.
People shouldn't complain about shows getting cancelled if they didn't actually watch them while they were on the air so now at least you guys have the right to bitch about them ending.

All I care about was Happy Endings getting cancelled. Hopefully another network picks it up.SaintLeonidas
While I enjoyed Happy endings I'm not surprised. Watching season 3 now and it feels like every episode is the same. For me, as long as Game of Thrones doesn't cancelled I'm ok (and Once uppon a time I guess.)

Ugh, agreed. Â Arrested Development is a perfect example of this. Â Thank god it's finally getting a 4th season thanks to Netflix all these years later.
The only show I watch that's on the bubble is Community. To each his own. I thought it was a decent show, with characters that weren't the standard Sci-Fi Heroes cloned into yet another Quest for Truth (in other words, another version of Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica).
I'm content that Parks and Recreation got renewed.

Well Dr. Who has been on the air off and on for 50 years and it looks like Game of Thrones has many many seasons left in it. So I can't say shows that I've followed recently are getting cancelled. The last show I followed that got cancelled prematurely was Stargate Universe.

Cable networks don't usually do upfronts for their shows. And you won't have to worry about Game of Thrones--it was renewed last month and they begin filming season 4 later this year for 2014.
only show i can remember that got cancelled was Terra Nova.
was pissed. they left off with previews for what was to come. looked good. then next thing i know, it got cancelled.:(

I started it on hulu(or netflix) and it had such a ridiculous amount of potential. Their budget or their network choice.... They were both just too risky, and it's a damn shame.
I was pretty pissed about firefly, although I didn't "just get into it".
I'm good for this season. Only new shows I picked up were Bob's Burgers and Suburgatory. For a lot of ABC shows, once you get past the second season hump, season four seems to be a lock for syndication.

I cant believe that except for three shows, NBC axed almost every single one of their shows they premiered last season--and one was cancelled before it even primered.
