They've issued a Tsunami warning.

Hopefully everyone is safe. It's looking bad for central America.

I'm telling you. Ever since the Eclipse started last month, we see lots of Hurricanes and now this Earthquake, the Eclipse was a warning natural disasters would happen.

Natural disasters happen all the time....and eclipses aren't exactly unknown.

It has been really bad, I live down in Texas and had to deal with Harvey, but we live on a very active planet, these things happen and the devastation is horrible, but it's unavoidable whether by our influences or not. :(

A total Eclipse happens once every couple of years. It's hardly a sign of anything. Just peak hurricane season amidst a warming world and unlucky timing on the earthquake event.

Not everything is non-nuance.

Repent now!

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit now I am worried, as a Californian. We've had droughts and fires of late, but earthquakes have been pretty tame here for the most part (bad one in Napa not too long ago, though...oh the loss in wine, the horror! THE HORROR!).

Californian here, moving to Canada ASAP!

There are earthquakes anywhere where there are mountains, even the shallow, lower ones in Upstate New York. The whole west coast of the US is part of the Pacific's ring of fire. All those well-known mountains: Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood, Mt. Shasta all have the potential to go KABOOM!
