Always down for some Goodman

The trailer felt more like a zombie apocalypse movie than a Cloverfield movie. I look forward to seeing more though!
It's really great that movies can still be kept a secret these days. The movie comes out in two months and we've never heard about it.
I'm confused, is it a Cloverfield successor or not? I'd imagine so, since it lightened up and paused on Cloverfield before 10 Cloverfield Lane popped in. Otherwise it's an abuse of the Cloverfield name, and J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot being being on board.
Regardless, J.J. Abrams, I'm seeing it day one no matter what.
Like the idea of it being just these three for the majority
same.
after watching The Hateful 8 (and other cabin-based movies), I am totally down for an intimate experience with a few characters.
They emphasized the Cloverfield in the title (i.e. Cloverfield showed up first, then the number and lane), so it must be a monster flick. That has me excited.
Goodman is freaking epic, love seeing him.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm just curious what it's about. Maybe those little critters taking over towns after the big monster comes by?
JJ Abrams called it a blood relative of Cloverfield. I have no idea what he means by that so I don't know what to make of the trailer.
It means its a monster movie. That's about all we can take from that.
Was that really a trailer? I mean, there wasn't really much shown to form a decent opinion about it. Such as rather its a direct sequel to Cloverfield or if its just simply adapting the name. One of the things I like about the original was the "found footage" element it had and that element seems to be lacking in this movie which kinda makes me sad...
