Anybody else's music taste change completely in the party/club scene?
I swear until I started partying I really couldn't understand the appeal of some artist.

When I go to a club I always makesure I take my mp3 player with me so I can dance to some MF DOOM or Cannibal Ox.

And Yeah, I totally understand the appeal of some artists because of that like Gucci and Electronic in general.Â

i used to party ALL THE TIME...so my music tastes always had some love for the mainstream.
I haven't REALLY partied in like two years though....so i dont even know what the new songs getting heavy rotation in the club are....when you get used to the songs though, they grow on you. when everyone was hating on soulja boy i was having a good ass time with his music in 2008...she got a donk, gucci bandana, etc.
****, I remember back in the day my friend would drive around and have a new mixtape that his cousin would make for us to listen to. We'd drive around all week and it'd have the latest new songs on there, and eventually I'd learn most of the songs. Thursday nights come around, and those songs are the ones in the club getting rotation...8)

a couple o' beers and you probably wouldnt care less what the DJ plays. I tend to avoid 'hip-hop' / rnb joints though. There are some fantastic places where I am that play a good mix of genres even some good ol skool hip-hop and new jack swing.Â
