For me it has to be...
The Format - Dog Problems. This album is the definition of dopeness :).
I like it more than one of my favorite Rap albums (LS), but not as much as my absolute favorite (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill).
D'Angelo - Brown Sugar
The R&B Jesus
Though Prince's "1999" album, Jimi Hendrix's "Electric Ladyland" and Stevie Wonder's "Talking Book" give it a run for it's money. ultimately the R&B Jesus lives up to his name
I honestly can't decide but it'd prolly be between Innervisions, Songs in the Key of Life, or There's a Riot Goin On.

I can't choose a fave Funkadelic album... their self-titled debut, Free Your Mind... And Your Ass Will Follow, Maggot Brain, One Nation Under A Groove, and Standing on the Verge of Getting It are all so good.
I dont really have favorites, but I really love Maxwells music. He's supposed to be coming out with a new album this year too.MellowMightWord. his first three albums are dopeee, especially the first two, which are produced by the guy who did the production of Sade's work.
IDK there are a lot of them...I dont have a single favorite...
Craig David - Born to Do It
Zo! - Freelance
J. Holiday - Back of My Lac'
Michael Jackson - Thriller
from off the top of my head right now...

Besides Maggot Brain, One Nation Under a Groove is the only one I've checked out. Damn, I really need to step my game up and checkout those other 3. Colt45fool***** Though "Slicker Than Your Average" is a lot better, that album is so consistant, and so DOPE. Truly turning into one of my favorite R&B albums.
Slicker than your average is prob my least favorite...ive only listened to a little of it though.
For me it goes
Born to Do It, Trust Me, Slicker than Your Average and The Story Goes (only like one song which is Love Dont Stop, and its prob in my top 3 craig david songs) tied
Im listenening to Slicker Than Your Average right now and its a thousand times better than The Story Goes...and a lot better than I remember. Hidden Agenda is my fav so far

"Trust Me" ahead of "Slicker Than Your Average"....LOLSlicker Than Your Average is by far his best album man...."Eenie Meenie," "You Don't Miss Your Water," "Fast Cars," "World Filled With Love," "Hidden Agenda," "What's Changed,"...so many good songs bro.
STYA > Born To Do It > The Story Goes = Trust Me
Trust Me's good, but it's definitely not the Craig of old....The Story Goes is alright, it grew on me, but the songwriting is so cliche...dope production, and Craig's voice is great, but the songwriting. Samething really with Trust Me...it's just a faster version of The Story Goes, with slightly better lyrics, and more skippable tracks.
**** you. Colt REALLY needs to thank me.
As for me:
Black-Demon
You didnt even pick the best Badu album :P Mama's Gun > Baduizm :P

How can you win by picking a band's fourth or fifth best album?
Anyway, some of mine:
The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main St. and Sticky Fingers
The Who - Who's Next
Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsys
The Allman Brothers Band - At Fillmore East
John Coltrane - Blue Train and A Love Supreme
The Beatles - Revolver and Rubber Soul
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle
Love - Forever Changes
Lots of others that deserve mention, those are just the first that came to mind.
My absolute favorite album ever, though:

If greatest hits albums count then Queen's Greatest Hits. Freddie Murcury may have been a homosexual with gay bathhouse tendancies, who coincidentally died of aids, but goddam hes a beast in the record booth.
Plus I listened to heaps of the songs off the album when I was a kid, so its also pretty nostalgic to listen to it now.
Other non-hip hop albums that I love are (in no order):
I also really really like Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley...I have that entire album on my Itunes but haven't bothered to listen to any other song.
Discovery = their best album IMO. Homework comes pretty close, gotta love that Chicago house.http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm308/stew1337/daft_punk_disovery.jpg
