Also, there is TONS of bay area **** dropping March 30th that isn't on that list. I'm not gonna bother mentioning it since Rubbersoul is probably the only other one here that'd check it out, but safe to say I'mma be spending a ton of money that day.

I know we're not on to April yet, but Too $hort's 19th album, "Still Smokin'" is finally going to drop on April 6th. I don't know if I even put that on my most anticipated list for 2010 because it feels like I've been waiting for it so long.

REALLY disappointed this is a digital-only album; I'd love to get this hard-copy. But if this is the route Short is gonna have to go to get back to being independent, I guess I'm all for it. I am just really psyched beyond words as to how great a new Too $hort album could possibly be without any major label A&R people pushing him the wrong direction.

and i know none of you will care, but craig david's got a disc coming out on march 30th. admittedly it shouldn't get much attention as it is, since craig's music has been pretty irrelevant for five years now, but I'm still going to make every effort to cop that disc, being the craig david stan that i am. I'm assuming that even though the album will be full of covers (awful, awful idea--craig's best trait was his ORIGINALITY, something he's COMPLETELY LOST as he's gotten older) there will be at least 3 or 4 dope tracks for my iPod.

Also, just to add on to what I said, there's reason to believe Craig will drop some classic material in the near future. His greatest hits disc featured some great 2-step/garage/old school craig that i'd been feening for since Slicker Than Your Average (Insomnia, My First Love, Where's Your Love?) and his last album had a few decent songs as well.

Still, the prospect of a Motown cover album from Craig doesn't sound so promising, whatsoever. Eh, I guess we take the good with the bad.

Demon Days has qualities within Hip Hop and it no doubt features a lot of Hip Hop artists but it's really, not any genre, it's a mixture of so many things. I don't think that'd be allowed.
