So I have kind of an odd question. On a scale of 1-10, how cheap as **** is the last dungeon/boss fight with Ganon? I ask only because I find the Water and Shadow temples to SUCK majorly, and the Bongo Bongo fight to be horrendously frustrating, but the Fire and Spirit Temples to be fun, with reasonable and fun boss fights. So I am wondering which one the last area leans more towards, as I want to mentally prep myself one way other other. Thanks guys! I'm hoping to beat this game before I get RE: Rev

1/10. It's not "cheap" at all. But then again, I loved the Bongo Bongo fight and the Shadow Temple as a whole.

Bongo Bongo is really easy, lol... anyways, I found the final Ganon boss to be the hardest in the game and it took me a few tries. Simply because I didn't plan ahead, lol. You'll want to conserve arrows for the latter half of the fight.

Yeah if you've fought him before he's well easy. I killed him in Ocarina of Time 3D (and Master Quest as well) without even using the light arrows and didn't get touched once :D

I'm actually less worried about the boss and more worried about the dungeon itself.... after the Shadow Temple, I just don't want a repeat. Having to run around with that ****ing thing active, looking for the most ****ing random little signs was a **** For instance, the big fan room, where way off one of the walls was a passage you had to find? Yeaaaahhh... and the water temple was just damn confusing!

Even if you haven't fought him before he's easy, well he was for me the first time I went toe-to-toe with him all those years ago anyway :P

I don't think a boss in a portable game should be ball-breaking in terms of difficulty (and in fact a boss in any game with a few exceptions, like Dark Souls), but they should require some thought and problem solving to figure out the mechanic

It's a console game remade for a portable system, with few changes outside of graphics. You really shouldn't be thinking of it as a "portable game."

Both true and not true. As a game on a portable system, I consider it in the context of a portable game because that's how I play it!

What was wrong with the Bongo Bongo fight again?

anyways, Phantom Ganon is, to me, the toughest boss in the game, so if you can ebat him, you're fine. The last boss isn't too bad, once you get the strategy down it's pretty easy.

Phantom Ganon was cake... the problem is Bongo Bongo was right as I lined up a good shot on a hand, I would bounced up and down and it would **** up my shot, and then I would get grabbed or smacked or something. And I kept running out of butt ****ing arrows, and I didnt feel like leaving the dungeon, going all the way to a shop somewhere and coming all the way back for arrows I might end up running out of again! It was just a pain in the ass fight, and the hover boots are annoying as hell. It was a blemish on an otherwise awesome game imo

The last dungeon in the game (Ganondorf's Castle) is pretty much every other major dungeon from the game come back for revenge. The Ganondorf fight plays pretty much exactly like Phantom Ganon, except you need to use the hover boots. Then there's a timed escort sequence that isn't too hard, and that's followed by Ganon which is actually a pretty easy fight but goes on for way too long (make sure to have magic potions on hand, you'll need them). IMO Phantom Ganon is the hardest boss in the game, and water temple is the hardest dungeon. Also, if you thought that Water Temple sucked in OoT3D you should have played it back on the N64 when boots weren't items and you had to pause the game every single ****ing time you wanted to put on or take off the iron boots.

You don't need to use the hover boots in the fight with Ganondorf, if enough of the platform is still there you can simply jump to Ganon if not then you can also use your hookshot. And you also do not need the hover boots for that "escort sequence" Don't worry :P
