Wondering about getting the Wii...

On this friday, Super Smash Brothers Brawl launches here in Norway, I havent bought a Wii yet, but SSBB definitively makes me considering getting a Wii console now. So my question is, what's your thoughts on getting a console because of one game? I've been a Super Smash Brothers fan since the N64, and after reading reviews about SSBB and watching videos, I might buy a Wii.

In your opinions, is it justifiable to buy Wii becasue of SSBB? Is the game better than the old ones? Appreciate answers. :)

SSBB is a fine game and all, but its not a good enough reason to buy a Wii. Look into the Wiis games.

but to be fair, Gerstmann was the most demanding reviewer here. If Rich, Ryan Davis, or someone else had handled the job, TP might have gotten a higher score.

yea they did it should be a 10 and i got GC zelda but the wii version is almost identical so get that mario galaxy, metroid prime 3, battalion wars 2 is pretty fun, paper mario, mario kart wii, if you can play it resident evil 4 and umbrella chronicals and thats some really good games to buy and of course SSBB!!

I doubt that, but the games I have are good. Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, Zelda TP, and Super Paper Mario.

I don't know if ill get another Wii game ever though.

I agree with you on that. Zelda was one of the most amazing games ive ever playedIconicSaint

I totally disagree Twillight Princess is the probably the worst game of the series. The only Zelda games that are good are Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

SSBB is overrated IMO. There's games like:

Galaxy, Zelda, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, MLB Power Pros, No More Heroes, Super Mario Strikers: Charged, PES 2008, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart Wii, Okami, Boom Blox, Build Works, Wii Fit, The Godfather, Paper Mario, RE 4 and so many more lol.

Not too mention games that have yet to come out.

The Conduit, COD5, Facebreaker (maybe), Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Guitar Hero: World Tour (YES!!!), De Blob, MadWorld, Wario Land Shake, Skate It, Deadly Creatures, Madden 09, SW: Force Unleashed (maybe), and Spore, just to name a few.
