I was playin wii sports bowling and i pulled muscles in my shoulder and arm .has anyone else sustained injuries playin the wii ? what game and how long did the injury last ??
The only 'injury' I've gotten while playing Wii was on launch dayI went home and played Wii Boxing for awhile and I woke up the next morning with sore arms. Didn't happen again though.
well few months ago i played wii with my friend and when we were playing tennis i hit my friend's head by accident LOL that so funny and he only got a bump.
Well I play my wii in my room. and the area its in i only have about 3 feet to wave my arms, otherwise you'll hit your arm on the walls corner. Well my friend and i were playing with it one day playing baseball on wii sports, so my friend swings and smashes his finger between the corner of the wall and the wii mote and his hand started to bleed. luckily no stitches or anything broken, just a minor cut. :D
when i first got my wii i was playing baseball and it sliped out of my hand and flew into the other room and hit my bro in the eye he got a black eye lol
ive never done anything, although my brother threw the remote across the room while playing tennis once. luckily, i was laying down. otherwise, right to the side of my head

Yeah, same thing with me. It took me about four days to get use to holding the Wii remote straight out.
No Injuries, except one time when i wuz playin bowling in wii sports swung my arm froward too fast and the wii-mote flew out of my hands(luckily i wuz wearing the Strap), but because i wore the strap the wii-mote flung front then back and it hit my face! lol:D
i was playing wii tennis i jumped and swung up high to hit a serve and hit my hand off the ceilling i broke 3 fingers but i finished the game(couldnt forfieghtto myfriend) then whent to the hospital
i had a heads up before the wii came out. just a week before i got wii i played raw vs smackdown and i was this relay crappy wrestler and versed a relay good guy on hard. i was loosing i was just about to win i threw my hands up and hit the ceiling fan (it was on) luckily only the controller got Hert i wish i still had the pick of it it had a boo boo :( one of the light bolbs broke it was kinda funny
my cat would like to file a complaint against the wii. backhand to the face has caused some slight distress. she would like 14 boxes of cat treats as compensation for lack of smashing your kitty in the face warnings.
one time some annoying kid i know was playing zelda and he was wondering if you stab the remote backwards would link do the same so he swung to fast and when he brought the remote back up it swung and hit his face.
The first time I played Twilight Princess for Wii I was fishing and I decided not to put the wrist strap on. Well I pulled up on the remote to catch a fish and it slipped out of my hands and hit me in the nose. I immediately put the wrist strap on.
Second injury...My older cousin (big guy) was bowling and just as he swung up, my little neice crossed in front of him and got knocked in the back of the head. She had gum in her mouth...HAD! and she was floored. Scary then, funny now. :P
Most Wii injuries I have gotten are not game related. I was playing around one time with my Wii-Mote. I was was spinning it by the strap on my finger hit myself in the face a few times. I played Wii Sports so much when I got it about a month and half ago. That I had very bad arm pain. Took about a week on not playing the Wii(and not doing Karata) for the pain to go away. At the very moment my wrist hurts becuase i used the internet channel way to much over the past week.
On a side note. Come to think of it,I think may have(but not sure)gave my Wii console a injurie. On a few ocasions while playing Wii Sports after we first got the Wii. I have smacked Sensor bar with the Wii-Mote once or twice on ancdent. Well a few weeks latter the Wii-Mote's movement started not to register while playing Wii Sports. The Sensor Bar was staring not to work properly. My mom and sister called nintendo. And they told my mom and sister to run a few tests. Come to find out few of the infered lights stopped working in the Sensor Bar.Nintendo replaced the Sensor Bar for free. But we can neverfor certin that the Sensor bar was flawed when we got the Wii either.
I have also smacked the Wii-Mote on the cealing 4 or 5 times(and thats just my self) and it still works to this day.
Dude I'm literally bed-ridden right now and I believe its wii related.... Think I've pulled a muscle around rib area... I'm for sure didn't have excruciating pain before getting wii for kids.
I know someone who was Wii Bowling and the Wii Remote came out their hands, and went into the screen of their $4000 tv (the screen looks like a spider web). They had their Wii for less than an hour, and should have worn their strap. Once again, wear the Wii strap, because its not just for decoration.
3 days ago I as boxing for about an hour and I'm feeling it in my elbow, which I think is odd. I'm not even positive that it's from boxing though. But I have previously had Wii-related injuries while playing tennis with a short 5 year old... need I say more, I surely hope not.
