I was wondering when Nintendo will release its Greatest Hits games? I want to buy DBZ BT2, but since it has been around for so many months, i believe it was released during launch im not sure, i was hoping it would get a price drop. I have no problem payin 50 bucks for a game, but if it was new, not a 5 month+ old game that could get a price drop any day now.

Can anyone can comment on my question? that would help a lot.

DBZ BT2 is actually a little over 3 months, it'll be 4 months mid march. Same with Raving Rabbids, ect.

I would assume you'd have to sell a certain amount of the game for it to be eligible for Greatest Hits, and there is lets say 4 mil Wii's sold in the U.S. which means around 2-3 million of each launch game would be sold in the u.s. alone by now, and couple hundred, or even thousand more bought from Gamefly.com and Blockbuster.com, ect.

2-3 million for each launch game in the US only? where did you get these numbers?? the biggest sales boost that the Wii has had was from launch to the end of the year. in that period... Zelda:TP only sold around 900,000, with third party games like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance selling 150,000 on the Wii in the US. for Zelda to actually reach 900,000 by now, it would actually have to sell more than it did during launch, which does not happen. for a game like Marvel AA, the sales for the game would have to increase more than ten-fold for a 2-3 million sell out in the months that it has been out.
