Anybody else notice how nintendo never puts black people in their video games? Is Nintendo racist or something?
The only character that even sorta looks black is Ganondorf, but I don't really cosider him black.

Well there's Mike Tyson in Punch Out....m_machine024
.................................whoops. Has Nintendo actually created a black character though?
Because some of the games are MADE IN JAPAN... and i'm guessing that there aren't very many African Americans in Japan.slimdave21
So. It doesn't mean that they can't put African Americans in their games.
There aren't very many african american people in Japan.
If I was making a game I would put in characters I can relate too and can portray acurately, if I don't see African Americans every day how will I do that.
Many other Japanese things have very few black people in them(Naruto for example).
The answers kind of obvious... more white people buy video games than blacks. Its just the facts, I really doubt Nintendo is raciestnintendogamer6
Thats stupid, anyway you should be thankful, if you watch anime the japanese vision of African Americans is a little..... off. Anyway if you want to play a game with black people go get RE5 when it comes out, lots of black people in that one.

Donkey Kong ain't black.
King Bob-Omb is a bomb, DK is a gorilla that talks like a black person sometimes and Mr. Game & Watch is a shadow.Don't know, but, it doesn't matter.
Only idiot's will make an issue out of it.
Im brown. Do you think I care if Nintendo has brown characters in their games or not? No. I don't care.Haziqonfire
I'm not making an issue out of it, I was only wondering if anyone else had noticed.
[QUOTE="thebisonx"]Goomba.

Goombas are brown people...
I love how this has gone from a complanint about nintendo's rasisim to a put a race to that nintendo char topic
I wasn't complaining about their racism, I was only wondering if anyone realized that nintendo doesn't have any black people.
Although your right, goomba is black. lol

Whenever you say "African American" your making two assumptions
1) They're American
2) That person is of African descent. I guess they don't come from Jamaica, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, and other countries. Never mind that people other than blacks come from Africa either. I bet you'll call someone from Jamaica "African American" before you call a "white" person African American. My friends dad is one of the "white" Brittish born in parts of Africa and when he decided to move here to America made him "African American" which makes her part "African" as well as many other ethnicities. By those standards it is technically possible that many "Africans" have been in Nintendo games.
WoW capcom is getting it because thay put alot of black people in a game ninty gets it for not putting enough LOL. Wild_Card
Because you kill them in RE5 instead of them just being there. Two different issues.
Because Nintendo are normal and don't care about the colour of someones skin.
If they want their characters to be white then so be it. Racism is taken way too seriously.
That is like asking why Nintendo never put Christians, Jews, or Muslims in its games, even though more than 80% of the world's population are from these religious groups? Can anyone say that it is anti-religion? Of course not. The same goes for blacks or any racial/ethnic group.
The answers kind of obvious... more white people buy video games than blacks. Its just the facts, I really doubt Nintendo is raciestnintendogamer6Im going to have to review these facts.
These are two questions which can EASILY BE ANSWERED.... YES---as in I HAVE Noticed......and NO----as in I don't think Nintendo is racist.....see people? Very simple answer for simple questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!kloijBut honestly whats so hard about adding a character with a darker shade of skin

Try again. Anyway, it's something that I've noticed and it's something that probably won't change for a while if ever.
Good god it's impossible to be right on the internet.
Ugh, I don't know. I was gonna respond with some dumb rant about how it isn't out yet so it doesn't count but.... I'm too lazy, whatever.
