Out of those five choices...
Hmm. Yeah this is pretty hard. I would choose Link because Zelda is my favorite franchise out of those five, but if I was playing Smash Bros, I would choose Samus (Zero Suit Samus to be specific), which makes me sometimes prefer Samus over Link in general. I'm conflicted between Link and Samus, therefore I pick Kirby because he's the pinkest badass in gaming. After he eats his enemies, he absorbs their powers and often skins their flesh and wears them as a hat. Kirby may be cute, but he's a ruthless monster who will devour anything he sees. He's the Hannibal Lecter of the gaming world. He also knows how to use a gun.
You really don't want to be on his bad side.
Also, for the first time ever, the Japanese boxart of a Kirby game finally shows him angry, because they're finally done sugarcoating how much of a maniac he is. Even Japan knows that Kirby is not the pink puff ball you would want to mess with.
He's also the reason why pink is officially a manly color.
