I'll say HG for the DS. Seems a lot of people missed the FOR THE DS part.

I guess i'd say Platinum. I liked Hg/Ss, but it didnt quite make the cut with me.Crotazoa8

im gonna say HG/SS. they would be level but HG/SS gets the 1-up because the pokemon are better, you get more than one starter, an extensive amount of legendaries,16 gym leaders,two whole regions,a rival that isnt just some hyper active psycho, and the nostalgia factor.
