Mine would have to be Marth. His sword is the center of all my strategies. It allows me to attack but keep a little distance btwn me and my opponent. His counter is also key, especially when your in a crowd of people just kickin' the crap out of each other. Just down B, then, BAM... they all go flying.:lol:

Roy, hands down. Not only do I rock with him and his counter is 10x better than Marth, but I play his traditinal game a lot too. I haven't played another character in AGES.
Oh, and by the way, I bet you posted this in the Wii forums because nobody goes to the GameCube forums any more, right? I'm guessing that's why you posted it here, right?
I hope they leave Marth (or a similar character) in Brawl. Speed, agility, power. He's got it all.zstick7
Except range :P. Yeah he's tied as my favourite character along with Sheik. I hope they have someone exactly like Sheik in Brawl because Sheik doesn't fit into the current Zelda games so I doubt Sheik'll be there...

I like how the topic creator doesn't even listen to their own topic. Nice job on telling us why Fox is your favorite. Anyway, mine is Roy and I really do not have any good reason. I just started playing as him because I thought he was cool looking and he had the sword. Also, since he normally wears red and that is my favorite color.

Sheik didn't fit into the last two console games either. She wasn't at all involved in Majora's Mask or Wind Waker, and those were the two console Zelda games that were released closest to Melee. She'll be in Brawl.

f-zero gamea are godly yes. fzero gx is probably the only cube game i'll never be able to beat because it's so freaking hard!
Dr. Mario, strong, fast, and not enough people are really great with him, so not many people build up good defenses with him. He will likely be taken out of Brawl though, so I bet I'll be back with Mario again...

Amen. Dang they're hard.
I got all the characters and all, i beat all story levels and EVERY singel other level on hardest settings...but it doesn't come close to trying to beat all the staff ghosts on every level! I have thrown my controller plenty of times because of them, probably will never beat the game. Man i love it :D

I haven't played that game in a long while, but I think I got everything beat except for one story level on very hard, the Mute City Grand Prix level.Â

Doesn't matter, he is one of the best in the game. The number 1 Fox player in the New York, Conneticut, New Jersey tristate area goes to my game club at school and he plays Falcon amazingly.
Personally I have always used Fox for his amazing up kick. Other then that I love his speed. ShineBlind anyone? I only hate the Fox players who do nothing but blaster spam...given it is easy to kill them but it is annoying. I also like Samus for some strong melee attacks but has that mix with the ranged like dumb missles. And Bomb hoping just to be annoying. I actually use Zelda, she is actually strong and the only time I ever switch with her is when the other guy is to fast and I need to get some quick damage in before I kill them with Zelda. JigglyPuff is just fun to play with and very deadly in team play. Rolly attack is bound to hit someone in a 4 player FFA and down B is just great if you know the timing.

My brother prefers Ice Climbers and does really well with them. If both are hitting you then they are very deadly. His main is Link though. Link has that annoying boomerrang or arrows to instanly stop anyone who is charging in for an atatck. and then while they recover you grab and throw down and spin attack. Link is also one of the annoying people who shield grab really well. Shield grabbing has to be the cheapest tatic ever.
I like sheik since hes is the fastest character pretty much, and very easy to use, and I like turning into zelda and and doing longrange teleport when about to die
FOX, hands down he is the greatest character. His speed is just WOW. He jump realy high and comes back down pretty slow giving u time to get back on the board. His C moves are just amazing. His little blaster is great to give a person extra %. His deflecter is awsome. And hes just an all around badass. IV also been playin with him since i got Melee ( i used to play with DK on 64 but now i notice how much he sucks).
