What would you think of Donkey Kong 64 for DS?

What would you think if they made Donkey Kong 64 (N64) for the DS? I for one think that the multiplayer would outbeat any of the multiplayer modes for any DS game that has come out so far, if it had wi-fi.

No... no more remakes, please... an original game with DK would be great (in fact, there is one in development)...

Not down. It's just not that good IMO. If they're going do another DK re-release it should be all 3 DK country games in one, maybe even a new Donkey Kong Country 4 ds?!.

Besides, I've seen Donkey Kong 64 and an N64 go for like $15. Half the price of a DS game.

blah... i didnt like DK64. was a big disapointment for me. compared to the other Rare games (banjo and conquer BFD) it was a lame attempt at a platformer. i didnt like having to re-do levels 4 times with the different characters. the multiplayer WAS the best part tho.

did that game come packed with the memory expansion thing? i remember i bought one (for rogue squadron) then got one in a game.

The one that is "in development" you mentioned is called DK Jungle Climber (DS) and is coming out very soon.

Didn't you see the post above? I already mentioned DK Jungle Climber (DS) . I looked it up here on Gamespot.

i think DK64 will be great on the DS. through i dont think the memory of the ds card (which i believe is 128MB) would old it.your__face

They could always expand the memory if they need to, but look at Super Mario 64 on the DS, it has more memory than the N64 , Im' sure making DK 64 on the DS would be no challenge in the area of memory.

As I said before, check out the new DK game coming out for DS called DK Jungle Climber (DS) .

I find Super Mario 64 to be nearly unplayable on the DS. DK64 would only be worse, especially since there's 201 Golden Bananas.D-MonDRV

Lol, I guess I would just like a DK64 type game for the DS, at first I thought porting DK64, and adding wi-fi would be good, but maybe a new DK game with the same graphics/play-stlye as DK64 is better.

Rare can make handheld games, just not console games on anything but MS consoles.
