taking in to account ther grapics the sound and gameplay i think graphics and sound are ok if the gameplay is perfect no flaws i dont see why it wouldnt get a 9.5 to 9.7 and we cant forget about the storyline since this will be the last prime i THINK its conclusion will have to be massive if Nintendo has all these things down no reason it should nt get 9.5

well since jeff will probably review hes going to find it 'boring', 'tedious', and going to complain about no online. i predict they rate it 8.5 basically, im not expecting GS to give a good score. IGN will however, and since Matt C. is a metroid fan, ill trust his review over jeffs anyday...

Yep, for a fan of Nintendo franchises, Matt's review is the only one that matters. I guessed 8.5 as well and 8.0 isn't out of the question if Jeff reviews it. Had Twilight Princess scored a mere 0.1 point less, it'd be 8.5 on the current rating scale, which MP3 will be rated with.
lacking online is a big negative. the storyline better be that good that it can carry the game through. the metroid series have been repetitive lately. it would of been good for them to add online, but that's nintendo for you.

Dont' expect too much for the storyline in prime 3 considering Prime 1 had practically no storyline at all and in Prime 2 where the storyline just faded away as you progressed through the game.
8.7 they'll probably say: clunky controls,no online,isn't on par with current consoles graphics :roll:.You can almost say they make stuff up for certain Wii games.

And with the exception of wario ware i agree with most of gs's reveiws. No current fps is woth more than a 7.5.

you all seem to forget that the current rating system is on increments of .5 and you're just being really pessimistic. didn't everyone say RE4Wii would get an 8.5 or lower, and it got a 9! and since this is a new game you should only expect it to get 9 or higher.
Why does everyone downplay this game. MP1 was fantastic. MP2 was a decent sequel but a bit rushed. MP3 has had tons of development, great controls and looks great. It has voice acting for the story telling, which was always a problem. It will be pretty long, from what i've read and seen. I dont see how they could give it something lower than a 9.0. If they do, i lose all faith in GS. I forgave for zelda because some things i do agree with, but seriously, this game has to be a 9.0+
It should get AAA, however, if Jeff reviews it, and since it doesn't have online, I'd expect around 8.8 from Gamespot, whereas everywhere else will be at least rated an AAA game.
i think 8.0 and they'll probably say: The controls just feel "tacked on" as they do with other great games like marvel or zelda TP. I think they just hate to admit that the wii has the best games of this generation.
metroid prime had no online, and it got game of the year at one point along with a 9.7 rating. if this game gets lower than a 9.5 then im done trusting gamespot for anything.
