Aren't those similar prices to the initial launch price offers with a trade in? I'm not 100% but i recall a thread in which multiple people complained that they still paid $100 when trading in the XL

$50 for a Lite? No thanks, I'd rather keep it. DS games look terrible on the 3DS, not to mention the battery life.
