Things that Nintendo does that makes you think "WTF?"

Here's your chance to vent. We love Nintendo, but sometimesNintendo does things that just doesn't seem logical. So here we go, name some things that Nintendo does, or doesn't do, that you just don't understand.

Here's a few to start off:

In the Pokemon franchise's long and successful history, why hasn't Nintendo made a proper, full blown,3D Console Pokemon RPG?

Why does Nintendo continue to make gratuitous amounts ofDonkey Kong spin-off games,yet hasn't made a proper Donkey Kong platformer/adventure game since the N64?

Rare made all the DK platformers. When Rare left Nintendo, Nintendo decided to take the series in a different direction.

Now the only thing that gets me is why did they include only 512MB of memory in the Wii? It seemed like an extremely shortsighted decision.

Aren't Pokemon XD and Pokemon Colloseum both Pokemon 3D RPGs on consoles?

Nintendo is highly capable of making a quality Donkey Kong platformer or adventure game themselves.

As for the pokemon RPG, yes they were RPGs on consoles.. but they were just mini games when compared to theirhandheld cousins.

also I love samus,link,mario and all the other nintendo characters but for good sake...please come up wiht something fresh...i love metroid prime 3 and SMG..but it would be cool to make a new character nintendo...lol it s gonna be a legend of zelda 40 in 6 years

I'm not bashing the Wii, it's downright amazing that it's been sold out for a solid YEAR. but that is all the more reason to say "WTF NINTENDO!? Great Job"

That was the first thing that came to my mind, too. Also, to a lesser extent, the lack of a microphone for online multiplayer.

they pulled there adds from tv to make less hype for the wii??? wtf they should try to get more hype and turn out more wiis :Dmariomusicmaker

i think your totally wrong. Microsoft has plenty of games that are revolutionary. they have power and game.

Yes, the wii is fun, but theres not alot of depth and nintendo needs to develope more games.

Sony has nothing to brag about except that they're losing ths counsel generation.

Why didn't they put Smash Bros for the N64 on the Wii Shop channel?

For me it's mainly the limited memory and not being able to use the SD cards or a flash drive as memory.

Also-don't like the friend codes.

FRIEND CODES and lack of headset for online play. come on, if your a little kid just dont buy the headset and no matter how much we want no more friend codes and a head set. we wont get it because nintendo is set in there ways.

A hard drive is all I need. Couldn't they just make like, a thing that goes in the USB port? Oh, and voice chat. Star Fox + 4 player online co-op with voice chat = best game ever.

Luigi' Mansion was amazing. Just short. Would loveto see a second one.

For me this ones personal, i really dont care about it taht much, but when im playing at my friends houses with there 360's and their powerful surround sound and crisp graphics like in halo 3. and i come home and play my wii i feel so underpowered in graphics and sound.

more hardcore games for sure

wish Metroid Prime 3 was longer :(

needs to stop thinking about getting adults and girls or lil kids w/e and remember that they still have hard core gamers that love them out there and respect there wishes as well

I understand why Nintendo didn't focus on the online stuff as much as Microsoft and Sony. The main concept of the Wii is to be a social gaming experience to have in the same room with other people. Right or wrong, online gaming carries more of a "hardcore" and I'd even venture to say potentially "dangerous" perception by the common person. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I agree with that notion, but non-gamers often think that way. Andgiven Nintendo's conservative nature I can see where that could be a factor when they're intentionally targeting the non-traditional market.

I do think that Nintendo could stand to balance their approach though, as addingaccessories like a hard drive and a wireless headset that would open up more possibilities for gamers. Even though I have zero interest in online play myself, I think it is foolish for Nintendo to ignore the segment of the gaming market that plays primarily online. They don't need to try to go head to head with Microsoft and Sony, but they can certainly stop seemingly going out of their way to alienate more hardcore gamers.

No friend codes at all it's ruining the online experience with Nintendo

And voice chat it would be better to hear your opponent beg for mercy when you beat him/her online
