Okay, I just got my Wii yesterday, and it's giving me problems connecting to the Internet. I have a Netgear Rangemax Wireless Router. I also tried the Channel setting thing..

if you are absolutely sure that the settings on the wii are correct, try turning off router, turning off wii, turn wii back on, turn router back on.

I tried everything. I'm starting to get REALLY pissed off. Is there something else I could try? I did the ipconfig thing and it says 192.168.1.2 is my IP, and my Gateway is 196.168.1.1, and my Static is 255.255.255.0, I tried to do that all myself, but it STILL won't work..

The Wii has trouble with some netgear routers, try to update both the router and Wii with the latest versions (I think the game with the latest update for Wii is AC?? not so sure tho).

Wow, I fixed it myself. I just set the DNS adresses, and set a few other things manually, and now my Wii Internet is connecting and it's LIGHTNING fast too. Like.. it takes 1-3 seconds to load anything. =) Thanks for your help everyone!
