SMG to a ratio of about 3:1. And thats because many more people know and love Mario butnot so much with Samus and the Metroid franchise. But I will buy both anyway:).
Super Mario Galaxy.It's a Mario game; that alone is enough for some people to buy it.And sadly,Metroid Prime has never been known for its sales.It's a niche genre,and not many people are into it,so less sales.
hard to say cuz of the games on the Wii if it was another console i would say SMG but sense there so many games for casual gamers on the Wii when MP3 comes all the hard core gamers r going to freak so im going to say MP3
Galaxy, pure and simple. I hope MP3 does sell a lot though because it's shaping up to be special, pure and simple (same as SMG though, but Mario is more popular)
I hope Mario sells better. I will buy both games, and I hope they both sell well. The fact of the matter is, Nintendo consoles sink or swim based on the Mario franchise. Mario 64 was great, and the N64 sold well. Sunshine was not well received, and the GCN suffered. The Wii's success depends on the success of Galaxy.
With all of that aside, Mario will sell better anyway. Most people are casual gamers, and even more people see Mario as THE game to get for a Nntendo console. They will look over some funny girl in a suit and get the Mario platrformer.
Metroid is more of a niche genre, even though Nintendo is marketing it to compete along side Microsofts biggest franchise HALO, thereby hinting that they have enough muscle to take on the Master Chief.
smg for sure, mario is like the worlds most knownvideo gamecharacter. mp3 will sell well but wont measure up to smg sales. ill be getting both personally, i reckon they are both going to be awesome! mp3 will be the best outta the prime series i predict
when brawl comes out itll kill both of them... but from those 2 galaxy for sure

Yeah SSBB is just going to devour every other Wii game coming out from now until December in sales. As it should.
SSBB is the most anticiapted on this forum and for most hardcore Wii owners. However, SMG is far more likely to be sold with almost every Wii console than SSBB. As Super Mario World was to SNES, SMG is to the Wii When casual gamers think of Nintendo games to get, they will immediately think of the Mario platformer. It is the direct successor of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, Mario 64, and yes- even Sunshine. SSBB will be great, maybe even better, but it will not sell as much as SMG.

The first Metroid Prime sells on the cube were through the roof, even with the GC's small userbase. But mario will sell faster because hardcore, casual and even non gamers will pick it up. Simply put it appeals to a larger fanbase.

never played any of the game i no that and if u play as samus in Super smash bros N 64 tell u that she is a girl If u watch SSBB trailier u find out i getting MP3
