yeah i agree geting a english version of jomp would probly be as good if not better then a super smash bros for the ds.mmaxdragonsmash=better
no because the DS hardware wouldnt be able to support the caliber of Smash we are accustomed to and would only let us downRuhdezeeare you retarded if the n64 could handle ssb so could the ds its not guna be as good as brawl but itll probably be like the 64 version but with more characters better graphics and a little bit more items
I'm not sure the DS could handle more than 2 player action in a SSB-type setting(Not only hardware issues, but screen size). Not that I would have a problem with that but then, would it really be SSB at that point?SiK99they wouldnt have to worry about screen size because it multiplayer would have to be on more than one ds so two or more people wouldnt have to be on the whole screen at the same time, idk if it that makes sense
it would be like jump ultimate stars but more nintendo themed instead of anime

Haven't played jump yet, however....not sure I would like having people off my screen during fights(like if another player is in a different area of the arena). And the DS screens might be too small to 'zoom out' like it does in SSBB when fighters get farther apart in the levels.
Regardless, I'm sure something of that series could make it to the DS. I would definately be interested to see how it would turn out should it actually happen.
Nintendo already has a lot of good wii games aI say take a shot at it and after they make it they can focus mostly on the console GamerJM so any way most of the people on this forum have said yes.
It should come out and that is reality
No... the ds cant handle SSB
from the roster, music and the stages..
BUT, if it was 2-D it can happen... trust me, I have bleach: the blade of fate for DS and it is ADDICTING
lol did you see there E3 keynote, i think they let everyone down:PIt would work. Nintendo has never let me down :D
SSBDS...COME ON!!!!
sheepradish
The Answer is no because...
It would be released to late in the DS' life time. The DS is selling like hot cakes and all a SSB DS would do is boost the sales of the DS... However they will most likely release a SSB DS and a Zelda game wit the new DS that will most likely come out in 2010. So the New DS can hit stores with a bang
no because the DS hardware wouldnt be able to support the caliber of Smash we are accustomed to and would only let us downRuhdezeeMy sentiments exactly. The series has never dissapointed us as of yet, why start now?
Although waiting for it to be released as a launch title for a new DS would be a great idea, if they were to put it on the current DS they should follow how the series made games so far.
What I mean by that is to take characters who have already appeared on the DS and put them in the game (like how they chose Twilight Princess Link in Brawl). Considering this a majority of the original SSB have already made their way on the DS.
Mario- New Super Mario Bros.
Luigi- New Super Mario Bros.
Link- Phantom Hourglass
Fox- Star Fox Command
Kirby- Squeak Squad (canvas curse Kirby would suck)
Donkey Kong- DK Jungle Climber
JigglyPuff- Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Pikachu- Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Samus- Metroid Prime: Hunters
Yoshi- Yoshi's Island
The only ones missing from SSB are Captian Falcon and Ness.
