It's sort of like a rythm based wario-ware, but with really simple controls.
Being a musician with a good sense of rythm, I think the game is phenomenal. It's not like other rythm games in any sense other than you need some kind of rythmic talent to do well. The music is catchy, if not a bit odd, and while not all of the mini-games are totally awesome, none of them suck either.
Anyway, I LOVE it, but like I said, I've been a musician most of my life. I don't really know how it would appeal to people who aren't musically inclined. I'm not saying there's a difference, but if ther is I wouldn't know.
If you have enough rythm to play a guitar hero game, I would highly reccomend buying it. It's got a ton of games, they're all fun, and the replay value is through the roof with unlockable toys and even bonus games for getting high ranks in the normal games.
