hmm intriguing, but i hope the wait isn't long and drawn out and all we end up with just a remake or half baked port.

oh well the "confirmed" RE2 remake is a Wiimake... as long as they do not manage to ruin my fav RE with bad control scheme (which I doubt considering that RE4 was done really good), I`m OK. That sad KEEP the fix camera, is a clas.sic and it should stay that way (no over the shoulder thing just to have an excused to use the wiimote)

I want a quality game on Wii that will give me nightmares even during my day dreams. There are enough action titles announced, bring on the horror! And I hope this one isn't on-rails, we already have Umbrella ChroniclesHead_of_games

That's what my first thought was too. I'm not going to come up with a conjecture though seeing as to how Capcom can sometimes surprise. I'll keep my mind wide open *Bridge to Terabithia soundtrack starts playing*.

He doesn't say the wii's resident evil fans, he just says that wii fans will be happy soon. (I would have copied the quote but Copy/Paste isn't working right now :( ) This isn't necessarily a resident evil game. With that said, I have no idea what it could be.

just give me an Re4 sytle game and i'll be happy. im hoping for Re5 for the wii

It is either going to be a Code Veronica remake or a sequel related to that game. Let's hope for the latter!

I loved Umbrella Chronicles, so I know I can trust that Capcom will deliver something good to the Wii.

Just promise me that no one will accuse Capcom of lying when we find out that this game isn't everything we hoped it would be.... :evil:

The game is probably Spyborgs. It's TBA 2009 so that would make it "soon".

not wanting to sound newbie but what is an on rails game? does that mean you have no control over the movement of your character and just where your looking and shooting?

Only we get excited over stuff like this--'Wii blog/forum dwellers'. It's either an RE remake or an on-rails RE game. If it's not RE related, then it may be a Spyborgs update.

Heck, I don't know if I'd be surprised if it were an announcement aboutMonster Hunter 3's NA release date--since we already know that's coming! I guess I'll only be surprised if it were something I'm not expecting, like an all new full fledged RE game or bringing Capcom Vs. Tatsunoko over to the States.
