A Wii sequel to Super Punch Out would be awesome! As long as they had responsive controls and a cameo by Little Mac (maybe you could fight him if you have a certain winning streak while TKO'ing every opponent), I think it would be great.

Well, there's already a Punch Out 2. It's got a 8.5 here at GS. And the first one was reviewed on VC at 8.0, last year.
Anyway, I would love to see Punch Out! 3. It would be great if they designed a game that could make use of the Classic controller to play more like punchout/super punchout in addition to the Wiiboxing style control with the Wiimote.

On the SNES.Actually I think SNES version is the 3rd Punch-Out!!. Because their was Punch-Out!!, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, and then Super Punch-Out!!.
Although Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out were in the Arcades but when they went into the Home Consoles Punch-Out!! was changed to Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
