I have owned a Wii since launch and love it. My sister who is 30, will buy a Wii if I can get her a Karaoke game as well as games I know I can get her. My question is there any form of karaoke here in the US, or would I have to get her a foreign Wii and games?

I think the only karaoke games are for the PS2 and X Box.. someone correct me if i'm wrong...

No their are none. But you can get American Idol for the PS2

She said she was in Chile, playing a karaoke game on the Wii. She also said she does not know what game it was, but it was not any American Idol game.
