Don't you think this would be a fun game for the DS

I would much rather have a Mario RPG port for DS. As of yet, there is no way to play it on any system except SNES. Paper Mario games span 3 systems already. None of which, imo, were as good as Super Mario RPG.
Just a thought...
more stylus intergration than M&Lpit hopefully.jacobs06
no I think the games are better with out that function
Paper Mario DS will be a great RPG remake of Paper Mario (N64) or Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I hope they can release it some time soon :o

not exactly. its out on the wii's VC now.
yea basically they already have it with mario and luigi partners in time7CloudStrife7
Why does everyone say this? the only similarity is that its 2D... and that its an RPG, but two different kinds of RPG =]
Paper Mario plays VERY differently...
what would be the point of remaking TYD or Super Paper Mario when you can just buy it for the gamecube or wii? the only reason to remake paper mario n64 is because its hard to find, and its the best of all 3 paper marios.

Actually they're quite similar. They both are RPGs with Mario in them. They both are turn based with action commands (in a battle scene). They both have preemptive strikes (jumping or hammering an enemy outside of battle). They both have hammers. And they both have platforming aspects.
They kinda already have it with mario and luigi partners in time. It isn't paper mario, but it's an rpg with mario in it.AdRock92Ya but i love Paper Mario story line and it's funner, also your a little more free in paper mario
I agree, I have never played a mario game I didn't like!Maybe it would be fun. Mario games usually are.

Partners in Time didn't have enough worlds to explore like all PM games do. That's why we need PMDS.
are you serious man???,STOP REVIVING OLD THREADSPartners in Time didn't have enough worlds to explore like all PM games do. That's why we need PMDS.

it'd be cool if you had to draw Paper Mario into certain shapes of Paper for different abilities kinda like that DSiware title Hacto Life or whatever when you fold pieces of paper
Maybe it would be fun. Mario games usually are.
I agree, I have never played a mario game I didn't like! Wait a sec, isn't this the guy with the PSP thread??What I'd like is a Mario 64-style game with RPG elements thrown in and a lot more levels (maybe even a level editor).
