Does it have random match-ups, or is online play limited to friend-codes?
I don't suppose it supports Wii-speak, does it? Hey, a guy can ask :P
I saw a few gameplay videos. It looks like some nice arcade fun :) Unlimited ammo from the looks of it too. How does the matchmaking work?evrdaybluesNo unlimited ammo, but plenty of it. However, if you are trigger happy and don't search for more you will find yourself out of ammo for your favorite gun :) (You can chose between 4).

There are 2 modes, Free Battle and Ranking Battle. It seems that in free Battle you are free to chose between the stages and weapons you want to play, and only this mode allows for friends.
After that have to choose between World or Regional Match (or friends in free Battle).
Well worth the 1000 points.
Keep in mind this game is really about scoring points just as much as finishing the level. There are online leaderboards (region, world, and friends) for each level and each difficulty setting.
As far as wifi is concerned there is co-op (go through the story mode) and ranking (score the most points). Haven't tried the co-op but ranking is 2-4 players...
There is much better games on the VC to pay $10 for IMO.JLF1That's one of the reasons I'm hesitant to download this or most WiiWare games for that matter.

The leaderboards sound cool. I think I may go down and dowload this. For $10, it seems like a good deal.bought this last night at about 10:30. So far I've played through the first 3 levels on Medium Difficulty and just got tooled by the games first big boss.
It's fun, but I hope the intensity picks up a little bit in the next few levels.
I also find that moving around is really slow, which made that boss tougher than he should have been.
At this point I'll say that it's worth the $10, especially if you like FPS or want to try out the genre without investing $50 in a regular game.
Good, but not great, is my early impression.
I'll probably pass on this game. I'd buy a PlayStation Store or Xbox Live game before I'd buy anything off WiiWare, and in the end I'll probably just never get around to it.TikicobraPSN sucks. The only good game I've gotten off of that is Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty. They hardly ever offer anything on there, the only reason to even check the updates is for Rock Band. XBLA is the best service right now, but it had a huge headstart and Wiiware is catching up quick. On topic though the game looks pretty good, but the lack of competitive battle mode is disapointing (and the fact of the block size). I'll probably stick with Call of Duty 4 until the Conduit comes out.

I assumed this was a thread to discuss the game, so I figure I have as much right to talk about not downloading the game as I do about downloading it.

If I go to PS3 boards and start saying "I'd buy a PC or Xbox360 game before I'd buy anything for the Ps3" on the killzone theard or whatever I would get banned ASAP for trolling.
You guys have just about convinced me to get this. I don't like FPS games, but I've been thinking about giving the genre another shot and this seems like the best choice to do that with. If I still hate the genre, I'm only out $10.
The last FPS game I played (not counting Metroid Prime 3, which doesn't count anyway) was Quake and the only reason I played that was because I'm a NiN fan.
[QUOTE="Rocky32189"]IGN's review is up: http://wii.ign.com/articles/957/957234p1.html 6.0: It's about what I expected. elbert_b_23i have never seen bozon so conflicted with any review he has done he says good and bad even says at the end that he is glade he bought it and you can't base getting a game off one review You can't base your purchase on one review, that is true. But he is actually spot on in his review. The game is an anomaly and a guilty pleasure.
