It's not too much of a big deal, Nintendo don't normally go to TGS, don't they normally have their own little thing around that period anyway? Besides, there is still the event in Germany.Goku-stream

LOL Calm down dude. First off I dont know if I even trust that info. Even if it is true Reggie has promised us a surpise by the end of Sept. I dont care if its at TGS or not, as long as the info keeps flowing in.

Reggie promised a lot of things. He promised Metroid, Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Brothers throughout the year didn't he? In the end you guys got strung along until Christmas holidays 2007.What exactly are you guys going to be playing next year? And the year after that? You know, in the couple of years it takes to make Nintendo mascot sequels and spinoffs? DS/ PSP/ PS2 ports? Maybe it's that massive quality third party support oh wait...

That isnt a valid argument... There is a big difference between a promise for some information and a promise for a game to be relased by a date. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with a game to push it back, not so with just telling us about a game. This is a promise that is easy to keep. TGS or not, Nintendo will find a way to build hype for their upcoming line up.
Especially since they did nothing at E3.

Nintendo had the best E3 out of everyone and is still in the press because of it. If you think that E3 was for anyone but people who work in the industry and the media then you're unable to further this conversation.
Nintendo Does not usually go to the TGS, they did in 2005 to show off the then new Wii-Mote, but thats it.
Nintendo still had E for All in Oct., In fact they are the flapship company this year, so they will have the most stuff. but dont be expecting a flood of major announcments or a SSBB Demo playable, im not saying they will not happen, just don't give your hopes up.
Theres still E for all. Leipzig, and Nintendo will probably be doing another press event in September like they did last year.
"no spaceworld either"? I thought they stopped doing spaceworld like 7 years ago.micahismyname
Exactly way to announce this like its real news or something, Nintendo hasnt done a spaceworld since the GC launched, and they never do TGS so when exactly does the news start?
Well TGS will be empty this year, but I guess we can still see the third party Wii games.
And then E For All, which Nintendo is definetly going to.

What? All they did was brag about how well the Wii was selling show 5 minutes of gameplay, brag some more and then show off Wii fit.

Well no, they enlightened the masses who were there that their platform should be the one they develop on and looks like it worked perfectly. More Wii support from devs and they're STILL in the news because of Wii Fit.
E3 was for the devs and mass media and they got more dev support and more media attention. That's called winning the event.

E3 is not for hardcore gamers to watch but for the press and mass media.
i'm just saying i watched nintendos conference after i watched sonys and microsofts and it seemed pretty shallow to theirs.

Are you a developer or a media outlet?
If the answer is no then E3 wasn't for you.
E3 is only for developers and mass media outlets. Since E3 Nintendo has many more devs on board and is more popular then ever (if possible) in the mass media.
Nintendo came away the winner at E3, there's no even room to argue about it. The two main things that E3 is for Nintendo succeeded with ease.
