Nintendo Channel - Yes or No?

How does everyone feel about the new Nintendo Channel? Personally I think it's pretty cool; I downloaded the Ninja Giaden demo for the DS this morning just to test it out and I was pretty impressed. Granted, it's not something I plan on jumping on everyday, but for what its for I think its a great idea. What do you guys think?

Where was the demo? I only seen a bunch of game previews? I wanna try out Ninja Gaiden for DS!

But yea, I think its a cool idea for those of us who also own a DS

When I used to own a Japanese Wii (in early January), I was able to download the Everyone Nintendo Channel. I liked it even though it took some time to download video. This was a few weeks before the Japanese release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Since I have to discard my wireless router because I changed my Internet connection from DSL to cable (it was uncompatible), I am waiting to receive my LAN adapter from Nintendo so I can connect my Wii online and download the Nintendo Channel.

And i think that this is a great channel, one i'll actually use.

I always welcome free stuff even if i won't make much use of it.
You have to realize though, we are informed gamers. So You could say the channel isn't even really meant for us.
We don't benefit fully.
The people who will benefit most, are developers delivering good games, and people who don't know their Ice Age from their Okami.
What can i say? I love it. It's a step in a good direction.

i must admit i use gamespot for everything that nintendo channel does... but i still think it's a good ideatrumpettruck

You use Gamespot to download demos onto your DS?

This channel is already pretty sweet. I say yes! :)

It's a channel that I'll actually use regularly... thumbs up.

DS demos used to be only available at big game stores like GameStop and EB Games. I'm glad that I can access these demos from my own home now :PPikaPikaboo

I've been having trouble linking my Wii and DS. I had to try ten times just to download the Crosswords DS demo.

Other than that, I like this channel. I wish Nintendo didn't feel like they had to tease us with the DS Downloads to force us into sharing information though. I don't have a problem with them knowing my gaming habits, since they'll use the data to figure out what's sticking with consumers and make better games as a result. I have some paranoid friends who'll be mad about this though. (One of them doesn't have a debit card because he thinks the government will track all of his purchases.)

Did you wait long enough? For me, the channel spent a while "preparing" the demo before it actually sent out the signal to my ds.

I played the crosswords DS demo for an hour, i need that game.

It doesnt get all of your save files that you have played for an hour though, i played crash of the titans for about 12 hours and the save file was still there but according to a search, no such game exists. Its ok though, it is relatively new and you cant expect them to have everything thats ever existed for wii and DS.

Could anyone tell me how much the Nintendo Channel costs and how much memory it takes up?Niff_T
