The DS Rumble Pak has probably been out for about a year or so as mentioned on the Article at IGN. But I just discovered it recently on ebay and when I browsed through the forums, there seemed to be little mention of it.

In short, the DS Rumble Pak is like a catridge that fits perfectly into your gameboy slot of the DS. When startup with compaitible games, you have the option of starting the rumble pak as well and with that, you get vibrations on your DS for certain gameplay actions or events, which is similar to what you might feel on the PS2 controller I guess:question:

Anyway, I'm thinking of investing in one, but so far the only game that I've heard supports it is Metroid Prime Pinball. Just wondering if anyone knows of any other games that support the rumble pak as well. Or maybe you would like to share your NDS rumble pak experience? :D

IMO the DS Rumble Pak is worth it.  It provides pretty good vibration and is not as noisy as IGN says.  If it is too noisy, then you can always just use headphones for the game music.

The Rumble Pak works better for some games though.  It works really well in Elite Beat Agents, but it performs only half as well in Star Fox Command.  I would still recommend getting esp. with Metroid Pinball because that is a really fun game.

Wouldn't this device significantly deprive the DS's battery life performance if used for games that support Rumble feature?  If that's the case, I'd rather not use it.

i wouldnt count on it.  its pretty much just an add on.  even if it does affect it, it cant be by much, maybe like 10 minutes or something

The rumble pak only takes up about 30 minutes worth of battery life, despite producing good, responsive rumbling feedback.

That's quite alright then. I'll probably get one soon. :)
