Must have Switch Accessories ?

I’m looking at getting a Nintendo Switch for my kids. I’m also getting a screen protector , and a carrying case. Are there any other must have accessories , ie chargers ?

it is much cheaper than buying a 2nd switch of course. with ps4 and xbox you have to buy a console for each tv of your house. but with switch an extra dock set is all you need.

2. a microSD memory card. if you plan to do a lot of online gaming on switch then it is a must. a 32 or 64GB are fine to start. but if you guys are big gamers tehn it might be good to futureproof yourselves with the 128GB card. it's only 50$ at most online retailers.

4. of course extra controllers... you can buy another joycon set. OR go for the more comfortable Pro controller.

5. another thing. you will need to charge joycon controllers eventually. the only way to do it out the box is to connect them to the switch while in sleep mode. however it might be annoying for you putting the joycons on and off on your switch. that's all i can think of.

simply inserting your switch in the dock charges the switch itself. So, in essence the dock is the switch charger.

I would totally recommend this! Not only does it protect the console, but makes playing it in the handheld mode much more comfy. You will have to take it off when docking the switch of course, but that is not much of a hassle really.

If you are using the big switch, buy the protective case with a comfy back grip.

The Switch personally is really uncomfortable for long portable playtime and the joycon can slide. A protective case with a good grip helps a lot.
