Most Anticipated Game of 2009?

What is your most anticpated game of 2009 for the Wii? Most of you who know me or have known me on these forums probably already know what my answer is.

It's Little King's Story. Little King's Story has been on my most wanted list ever since it was announced as Project O. Why? Because of a number of reasons.

• Development team
• The smart use of the AI
• Charming art direction
• There is no other game on the Wii out atm that is in the same genre as LKS
• Love the idea of citizens changing how they feel about you depending on what you do -- things like having a live feed during the game about events that are happening is just awesome

I loved Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.

Charming art direction coupled with simple, yet solid, gameplay

I always wanted to get a copy of Door to Phantomile, but its freaking rare and expensive.

The little guy could always use more love.

Even with all the hate that it has been getting, or at least that I'm seeing, lately, I've got to go with Madworld.

It's not that I think it's going to be the best game ever, or even the best game out this year, but I find it incredibly intriguing. That's partially for the art style and partially for the concept.

LKS is running a very close second though.

Pikimin 3 is coming out this year, its just a remake of the first one not sure if it has more on it though.stike22

No, Nintendo is releasing a remake of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 sometime in 2009 and Miyamoto is also working on Pikmin 3 though the release date for it is unknown.

Mario Galaxy 2 is not confirmed at all.

As for the most anticipated game this year, mine would be either Little King's Story and MadWorld. I was looking foward to LKS before but something clicked and now I can't wait.

Say, when is Mamarusa (or whatever it's called) coming out?

Shigeru was reported saying it ages ago like 1 or 2 years ago, but your your probaly right. If I remember correctly he said pikimin was being developed, then new Zelda and then Mario Galaxy 2. Zelda was being made just after twilight princess, and mario galaxy 2 was just after mario galaxy 1 came out. Honestly though nintendos promised lot of games still not out. (STARFOX) and Mario tennis which was supposed to be a release game is only now being seen. And well honestly nintendo need more games like that.stike22

I think it was last year's E3 he said something along the lines that a sequel to Galaxy is on his mind but didn't say anything else.

But when did Nintendo promise a new Starfox and Mario Tennis being made? That one doesn't ring a bell.

the remake of pikmin 1 isnt what he was referring too. alot of us are hoping for a new pikmin, although i doubt it'll be released this year.

I'm really looking forward to this game for all the reasons you listed. From everything I've read it sounds like a cross between Zelda and Roller coaster tycoon.

I'd love the Final Fantasy wii game released this year but it's not looking so good.
