They are both must-but wii games, but super mario galaxy is one of the greatest games i have ever played. If your planning on buying the other game you do not choose at some point anyway, then corruption is a fine buy.
I have MP3 but have only started because i got mario galaxy at the same time so haven't spent more than 10 minutes on it. From the first ten minutes of each game mario was the clear winner. :P
During my christmas break i will probably give MP3 a bit more of a go.
Mario won't give you as many hours of gameplay but the game is excellent while it lasts and is fantastic fun.
Metroid will give you more hours and it's a great game as well but not quite as fun as Mario. Still it is a fantastic shooter but I never played a metroid game before Prime 3 came out and Super metroid hit the VC so it may not be as fun for people who have played metroid before.
That's a tough decision honestly. I would get both as they're both killer games. But it depends on what you like. I really can't recommend one over the other because they're both so good.
Get Galaxy. MP3 is great and all, but Galaxy is just way better. It has actually lasted me longer than MP3, because I never replayed MP3, but I went back to get all of the stars in SMG.
