Yeah Jam looks like its going to be pretty good, definitely a game to play when you have friends over. I hope they do something about the controls though, I don't like the whole motion controls for shooting thing. Jam has always been very simple mechanically, they should retain that. You could do Jam probably with the wiimote on its side.

Yeah I really can't wait for this! NBA Jam dominated our mid 90s gaming back in the old jr high school days. Ahh sweet memories. The days of NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat (mostly 2), old school Sonic. You know....the GOOD stuff ;)
Only basketball game I played was the crappy NBA 07 though I must admit I had my fair share of fun with that game. If this game is as good and crazy as the first game then I'll get it. People keep talking about how great the first one and I feel bad cause I never played it.

I agree, the tacked on motion controls sound really annoying, intrusive and unintuitive. Having to flick the Remote up and down for every shot would get irritating as hell. Luckily, I'm pretty sure that you can indeed turn the Remote on its side and play it classic style, waggle-free.
I am really hoping for classic controller, gamecube controller support atleast or turn control on its side. This game does not need motion control in ANY WAY. Don't mess with a classic in that regard.
