Just watched Alien Syndrome Gameplay video

This game gets a lot of bashing saying how the Wii version is bad graphically. So I checked out the gameplay video and it looks good to me. The graphics look good enough for me, the control scheme seems nice, and the action intense.

This seems to be a classic shoot me up with some twists. I suspect this will be a sleeper hit, what do you guys think?

It looks like it has psp graphics.  They said the difference between the wii and psp version is controls.  But it itll still probably be fun, it'll just probably won't look very good.commander-cool

Sega did say they are 100% against ports to Wii and will make new textures for the Wii version of AS. Let's see if they do it.

It does look intense and fast paced, and the use of the pointer is simple, yet engaging and requires skills.Wintry_Flutist

reminds me of Gauntlet, I had so much fun doin 4 player coop with my friends in that game! ... Blue Knight! Has grown a level :lol:omgadam

It sort of reminded me of a Space themed Diablo game. Screw the graphics, this game looks like it will be amazing. Is it online?

Nah, its not online I think, but it had 4 player action. 

It looks like a very fun game, reminds me of the old looking glass Crusader titles. Also pretty similar to the truly fantastic Killzone for the PSP, I think this game is going to be a blast.

I hope they do as well. I had seen videos of this and I wasn't happy what I saw. It looked just like the 
PSP version. I'm not saying a game should look like the 360 or PS3. Still why did the game look like
a straight port from the PSP version. What the hell. There is no way in hell I'd spend $50 on that or
even close to that. I do hope the graphics do change, at least far more detailed. 

Maybe it's the quality of the video that is turning me off. I hope there is a clear clip put up soon to show
the end product. Graphics aren't everything but this is doing the Wii no favors at all I feel. 

Or it could just be the whole top down point of view that is really the big turn off.
