Probably trying to kill both Guitar Hero and Rock Band by the sound of it. I mean they tried with Wii Music, but that failed. Now they try with a new music game on the DS, but no one knows how that'll turn out.

IGN's hinted at Vicarious Visions already creating a way around the restriction of DSi. And by that I mean mean they've basically come out and said it, but there's been no official announcement.
nintendo isn't trying to kill GH they are trying to make the best DS they can and truthfully said the GBA port was not needed i am sure that the guys of GH are thinking of new ways to make a game for all they are pumping out GH games so much now days
Not too much ppl is atracted by GH and i dont think Nintendo is triying to kill GH. If you have GH of couse that you have a DS lite so i believe you can play without problems, or the release of the DSi is not going to let you playing it? lol. Just enjoy the game

DSi's not gonna replace the Lite, so your preference of console depends solely on what games you want.So, technically, GH for the DS wont die until the Lite is out of the picture, which won't happen for a while.
I think that Guitar hero is going to come out with a game on the DSI that instaed of hiting the notes with your fingers you are going to touch the notes on the DSI.
