order of preference:
play people way that are really good and in the room with you when playing
play people good people online
play computer on harder levels
don't play the computer on easier levels, you'll just get used to beating something not very good.
i would assume that people that are very good also practice on their own, but i dont find that useful.
by the way, if you want to play me: 4468 5237 5566. im better than a normal computer anyway.
Play my friends online, play team brawl (3 level 9 computers against me), and look up strategies on Youtube.

I have cleared everything on intense with no continues(cla.ss.ic with only one stock on intense) and I consider myself good.I have cleared everything on intense with no continues(cla.ss.ic with only one stock on intense) and I consider myself good.KingBowser91
did you beat the subspace emissary on intense with no stickers, deaths, or refreshes in the great maze?

I'm the King of Games. I can play Brawl online with a Guitar Hero guitar, and win. :P

Haha, does that work? I remember playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 with the Dance Dance Revolution pad. Lol.

actually you can, but you'd be limited to the buttons shown in the guitar... and you'd have to play as a keyboard... definitely not the best option :P but you CAN play soulcalibur III with a GH guitar. have yet to try it myself, though :PYou trade in Brawl???? REALY????? :OWhen I wanted to get better, I would just button mash and mindlessly win.
Which is why I traded it in:P

Are you Chuck Norris? :O
Let me put it this way. Chuck Norris is not even on my level.
I'm just so pro stat I never had to practice you know? :P
No really, haven't played that game for a while, but to practice I always just played against level 9 CPUs (typically Ike since his level 9 is absolutely ridiculous), and got to the point where I was winning every time. Then it was just a matter of trying not to die.
I train against level eights. Level nines are IMPOSSIBLE!! People claiming they can beat them let alone three of them are liars.ZumaJones07
lol, i can beat level nines without loosing a life (3-5 stock). three comp vs me a bit difficult but its possible.
i find to get better in brawl is practice against good human players, then again its almost impossible online because of lag. i suggest finding a smash community in your area via smashboards or friends

Ya seriously dude if you can't beat a level 9 you kinda suck. Not that sucking at a video game is a big deal but it's true. I never lose to level 9s in a 1 on 1 match. With 3 of them, ya I'll lose a decent amount of the time but I still win a good bit of the time. Unless you mean all 3 of them against me, then I'll win maybe 1 in like 15 times on a big stage haha.I just play Smash. I don't really try to practice... I just play with my friends or against Level 8 CPUS. Becoming really good at the game isn't really a thing for me as of now, but I'd consider myself pretty good at the game. I can never prove that online, though, 'cause o' that darn lag!!!

Yup, traded it in for Wii Sports Resort.
I tried lying to myself, tricking myself, and playing until my mind was numb to force myself to like it. I tried so hard to like Brawl, I really did. I wanted to love it, but no matter what I did I just couldn't get into it.

How do you not like Brawl? Are you one of those people who likes Melee tons more, or do you just outright not like the Smash series?

I never played Melee, the last Smash Bros game I played was on N64 and I really enjoyed it. I just don't like it:P
This is not a good way to get better because: 1. You're never going to be in a situation where it's 3 vs 1 2. It's actually easier taking on 3 level 9's at once because all you have to do is plank .The way I got good is by fighting 3 teamed up level 9's on stock with five lives for all of us.

Ah, I see. Well, they MIGHT,(emphasis on might), release it on VC here in the U.S. If they do, I guess that would be something for you. I, for one, never played the original Smash Bros., but would probably pick it up if it was released on VC.
It seemed like an obvious joke but it was just such a lame joke that it was hard to take it that way.Obvious joke is obvious.
