Guitar Hero: World Tour - Will be the highest rated game on Wii from Gamespot?

The game looks brilliant, improves from GH3 by a lot and is great to be the first wii game to have DLC

I think it'll get 9.0 (hopefully)

It'll be interesting to see what happens with it. I've already got it preordered, so it won't make or break it for me, but I bet it will score a 9 or so.tobenator

sorry but i dont see how GH WT will be anything higher then a 8.5, i mean theyve pretty much already made this game its called rock band and even though it has a few more features tacked on, it is still essentially the same game play, press buttons that match the ones given on screen. That being said rock band is a rather dull game as well

following directions is not my idea of fun, but maybe for some people out there this could be fun, cause its certainly racked in some cash...

but no strategy (deciding when to tilt doesnt count as strategy) and repetitive gameplay will never get a 10, regardless of how many different features they have to try to put a spin on it

Gamespot only gives scores in .5 increments so it can't get 9.5+. I'm sure they'll give it at least a 9.0. That's what they gave Rock Band 2 and from what I hear Guitar Hero is better. It may get a 9.5 tieing Mario Galaxy. Also Samba De Amigo is the first Wii game with DLC. It comes out next week. Guitar Hero is just the first announced game with DLC.AlmightyDerek

Honestly, GH:WT will have to greatly impress gamespot in order to score a 9+. Rock band is already out and the past guitar heros for the wii haven't scored above a 9.

I think that it will score 8.5 or slightly above.

Music studio is the only reason that this game will get above an 8, because honestly rock band pretty much had all the same stuff except for that, unless they make severe change to the gameplay (which i doubt) oh and online GH wow!! except that the gameplay doesn't change at all so thats why that will be a null factor, downloadable content will probably also help put it over the edge of 8 and into an 8.5 but besides that this game is exactly like the rest of the instrument based rythym games

I think it's much too premature to start calling this game a 10, especially in Gamespot's book. I mean, it looks to be really good, a must-buy for the already Guitar Hero fans, but that's all. Rock Band's done most of what's new in this game, and beyond that, it's mostly more of the same. I mean, I remember when people cried foul about the Twilight Princess score, getting a little less than 9, when it was most definitely a must-buy for all Zelda fans. Face it, even if it's good enough to pick up on day one, measuring a game by how far it is from 10 doesn't really do too much good.

That being said, someone around my house'll probably pick this up shortly after it launches, probably my girlfriend buying it for her 360. I'm sure it'll be wonderful.

Even with all the new features, it doesn't deserves 10, no game is perfect.

In my opinion it should get a 8.0 because i don't like games like guitar hero and rock band, but gamespot will probably give it a 9.0

Oh yeah. I forgot about My Life as a King. We'll say Samba de Amigo is the first game with useful buyable DLC. MLAK only let you download costumes and new rewards for your adventurers to find. That's just kind of a ripoff.
