B Gamecube=Y in the game right?
and A GC=B
If so I see no problem. I can hold both buttons down with my thumb and manipulate them fine, but it doesn't matter, my roomate hasn't downloaded another game since SM64 so I play All Stars on my Comp with my 360 controller, feels great.
If you can hold down Y (run) and B (normal jump) on a GC controller without touching A (spin jump), then Mister, you're a better man than I.B Gamecube=Y in the game right?

I can do it with the mad catz controller easily, but not so well with the Nintendo controllers.
yeah, it's pretty awkward with the gc controller.I actually want those so bad. $25 a piece is extreme though. If it was $25 to hook up all different controllers to it, then yes, I'd buy it.
I think I'll get that classic controller...maybe order those hookups from retrousb.com

hmm.. controls work fine for me. :DSworddragonbaneHow are you accomplishing a running jump without holding your fingers like a moron? It's just not possible.
I am at bowsers castle using the GC controller and 91% complete. It sucks because I have to hold down the Y button with my index finger and jump with my thumb. My index finger gets tired, but it gets the job done. I will probably beat it today.keveinmayYes, it's definitely possible to beat it with the GC controller, but at $8 for the game and such a great game with infinite replayability, you need the Classic Controller, especially if it's a game from your childhood that you will play over and over.
