Does any one else wants this amazing game to be remade on the DS. The Ds is capable of it and they have remade many N64 games to the DS, so I'm wondering why not this. This would be a dream come true if they made itfor the DS and if not why the hell not the VC for the wii.

Anyone else agree they should remake this game on the DS or atleast the VC?

I would have to agree. Since Mario 64 DS, a launch game.... no dev has truly remastered/created a great 3D platformer... its obviously possible as Mario 64 DS looks even better than the original. A mario Galaxy DS or donkey kong or "gasp" a new IP platformer would be great.

Yes! YES! I'd sell may family for a remake of this game!

Personly, I think it would be even sweeter if they did the remake on the Wii. Imagine the whole game with Donkey KOng looking like he does in SMSBB! OMG, it would be SO GREAT! PLEASE DO A REMAKE!

Donkey Kong Country 4 would be much more awesome in my opinion. I wouldn`t mind if they ported DK64 to the DS though.

I wouldnt mind Donkey Kong 64 on DS. I REALLY enjoyed the game, but compared to DKC which i got mad at alot, Yeah I'd rather have DK64

i would acctually like to see another donkey kong adventure with NO music! I i am tired of the dumb music things they come up with. DK 64 was great but instead of advancing it they go to music crap! And when they do make a different game its either like dk climbers or some racing thing! it was cool at first but they are going way to far. i would like them to make a sequel of DK 64 on the ds or wii instead of a re-make.

i agree. i want Donkey Kong (N64) remade on DS, and put on VC. as well as a brand new sequel on Wii.

and you said they made many n64 games to the DS, what games are you referring to besides Super Mario 64 DS.

I liked DK64, but I'd rather play a new DKC. My favourite platformer is still DKC2. I need to try DS platformers.

I have an idea for one of the controls, if you just push on the directional pad on any direction you walk, but if you hold then tap quickly in the same direction, you go faster, but not as fast as the Orangutan sprint, if you tap on one of the directions carefully you tiptoe.

I also hope they put in more characters, namely Dixie & Kiddie, the latter not being seen since Donkey Kong Racing, which was cancelled not counting the GBA & VC releases, i also expect the Great Girder Grapple to actually appear now that think of it, not just mentioned in the manual,

man that game was my favorite.

A remake on the Ds a Remake on the DS a remake on the DS

i dream about something like that.

This game on DS would make a HUUGGE hit.

Plus, this game is a beast compared to some modern games.

It had originality.

I still go back to what I said a long time ago : Nintendo needs to make its own propriety Super Smash Bros. on the DS platform, tailored specifically to its hardware specifications. Essentially, make a Super Smash Brothers DS title, and you could see it as potentially becoming the best selling DS first-party game since Mario Kart DS.

They defiantly should remake it!! That was an awesome game. Think graphics like Diddy Kong Racing, maybe... If not for DS, then for PC.

I've allways wished for a remake of Donkey Kong 64 on the DS. My guess of why it's not on the VC is because the game was developed by Rare and they now belong to Microsoft.
