Do you think the newer Joy-Cons (like the special colour ones) have fixed the weak signal/connectivity problems?

My left Joy-Con does have some minor connectivity issues. I am thinking about getting it fixed, but was also wondering if the new Joy-Cons, like the neon ones, will still have this issue.

I bought and use the two yellow Joy-Cons and had no problems so far. But I also rarely only had them with the blue one.

I'm not sure, but if you are having connectivity problems, just call Nintendo. I sent mine off and got them back working properly in less than 1 week, free of charge.

I've only heard of this problem. Still using launch red & blue on mine and launch grey's on the wife's. No issues, maybe the fix was software related?

The original fix was so simple, my guess is yes. It would not be hard to update the manufacturing process when they were already changing it for the new colors.

Ive never ran into this problem personally. One would hope that newer controllers have the potential problem fixed though.

From what I could ascertain, there is no official word of a fix...but anecdotally I've heard good things on the newer Joy-Con models.

@kramernic: Yep. Original pair still has issues, but newer ones I have work fine.

I haven't had any issues with mine that came with my system - as others said, I think this has already been fixed (mine was purchased only about a month ago)

Nintendo did come out and say the issue has apparently been fixed
