Do you really use those Wiimote sleeve grips?

I dont. I find them completely pointless. Accidentally throwing the Wiimote is not that big of a risk and even so thats what the wrist strap is for. I dont use the strap either, excpet maybe while playing Wii Sports since you use bigger swings and motion. Now everytime you see someone using a Wii like during E3 or during a press video they have the sleeves on.

I also think it kinda makes it look ugly and bulky. The Wiimote looks nice the way it is.

I find it more comfortable and better sized for me to grip. So yes. Seriously when you get into those major 10 hours+ sessions for an addictive game, comfort is a priority :P.

I like the feel of it, but then it collects dust, so I don't keep them on.

I prefer the feel of it. I don't really care how my remote looks with or without it, it's not a big deal to me.

Also, I like chewing on it when I get frustrated during a game. Really lets out all that aggression.

Having bought my Wii at launch, and not having my serial no. with which to order the things during business hours, the answer is sadly: NO. I dont use them,

No. I got two with my pair of Wii Motion Plus devices and I removed them right away.

Only with wm+. with wm+ i like the added weight. with the wiimote alone, i think that little rectangle feels fantastic without. especially playing ebots without the wheel. the wiimote is a great controller. it fits perfect between my hands, you don't need to grip it so much as squeeze your hands together with the ends pressed against your palms. gloveless and strapless

It depends if the remote cover is on when I pick it up. There are some games when I prefer to have it on, DDR is one of them because it's not as slippery when my hands get sweaty.

I did until I got Mario Kart and started using the wheel. The grip sleeves were too difficult to remove and put back on everytime I wanted to play mario kart.

I wore it when the first were released, but one day I had to change the batteries, and was too lazy to put it back on, so I played without it, and I forgot how much better it was.

Also, it doesn't fit on my Nyko charger with it on...

I do. It feels good, and when I take the sleeve off, its awkward because i'm so used to the sleeve.

Yeah, I use the sleeve. I find it to be more confortable to use, especially when using the Wii Remote NES-style.

nezardms comment should get him banned. no reason for such vulgarity and racism. this discussion was over a stupid wiimote sleeve. on topic, yes, I keep the sleeves on.

Gross. Nothing's worse than playing a game like Warioware, and someone hands you a sweaty controller.

Depends: if I'm just doing some quick surfing, like now, or putting in a quick 10 to 20 minutes on a game, then no. But if I'm settling in for a long haul, then I do use the sleeve as it makes it more comfortable. And when the new color Wii-motes come out this Christmas with their sleeves, I'll DEFINITELY be using those!

They're monstrous to look at and unweildly compared to the non-sleeved Wiimote. Ok, I exaggerate, but no, I don't use them.

No, I dont use it. It is not a good feeling holding it especially sideways. I use it when playing games with M+ though.

And I always use wrist strap.

I don't. I used it once...until I had to change the batteries. Then I never bothered with it again. I don't even use the wrist strap unless I'm playing Wii Sports. For most games, there's no risk of it slipping away.
