Do ANY of the 3DS launch titles look good to you?

Topic. I'm definitely getting a 3DS on launch day, but I keep looking over the list again and again to see if my taste has changed...and none of the day one games look like anything I want to play. I might be picky, but I'm not crazy. IMHO, there's nothing note worthy coming out until at least a month after launch. I'm super pumped for things like MGS: 3D and OoT: 3D, but are we really supposed to be excited for Nintendogs and Street Fighter?

If you aren't excited for Street Fighter then you must be one of those GTA and COD fans.

I'm not getting a 3DS right away. However, I'm not even a huge fan and Street Fighter looks good to me! Very fun it seems.

But I understand Steel Diver not being very fun looking. I almost rolled my eyes when they announced it. It looks BORING.

Pilotwings Resort looks pretty good. I hope they have an RTS soon too, but I don't know if any have been announced yet. Maybe we'll hear something soon.

Pilotwings and Steel Diver look good to me. And if you can play Nintendogs + cats without seeing a cat I'll buy that as well

Madden? You've got to be joking. Madden is what casual gamers play whilst touting an undeserved sense of accomplishment for buying and playing crap. All of the sudden Street Fighter isn't looking so bad to me.

Street Fighter for sure. I'm a big fan.

SSFIV 3D of course.

Street Fighter and Dead or Alive. I think both game series's are pretty cool guys so I may preorder a 3DS for them.

SSFIV looks good. Samurai Warriors Chronicles looks alright as well, but I'm worried it will get really repetitive fast.

I never got to play Street Fighter 4 so I'm excited for that. I might pick up Ridge Racer while I wait for another racing game, graphics won't be that important for this one because the last racing game I enjoyed was NFS Nitro on DS and I suppose this will be better.

Beyond Super Street Fighter IV 3D I wouldn't get anything else - Even that is a stretch, I've already owned it on the 360.

I'm waiting till Mario Kart 3DS, Paper Mario and Ocarina of Time 3D get released before I buy one.

I, like most gamers, want an atmospheric action adventure game.

WITH GUNS AND BLOOD AND TACTICOOL GUNS AND SHINY GUN TEXTURES.

Beyond Super Street Fighter IV 3D I wouldn't get anything else - Even that is a stretch, I've already owned it on the 360.

I'm waiting till Mario Kart 3DS, Paper Mario and Ocarina of Time 3D get released before I buy one.

Late summer/fall/winter.

I'm in downtown Toronto practically everyday because of university, I don't think it'll be that hard to find one during that period unless it's late winter.

Pilotwings... aside from that... i think the best launch titles are pre-installed on the 3DS.

Steel Diver was my most wanted game, and now it's not on the launch list any more :evil:

I'm in the same exact position as you. I was really excited for the N3DS but the only game that sparks my interest is Nintendogs+Cats... but that's just one game. Shin Megami Tensei is also remaking Devil Survivor for the N3DS, so I'm a bit excited for that but that's coming out 6/01. The games that I really want to get are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Resident Evil Revelations, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon 3D, Shin Megami Tensei Persona, Final Fantasy (working title), and Kingdom Hearts 3D (working title). For most of those the release date has yet to be announced. I guess I'll just wait a while.

From the looks of it, Super Monkey Ball 3D is a launch title as well. It's listed as the 27th here on Gamespot and at Gamestop's website, too. Shame to admit that it's the only one that appeals to me.

Splinter Cell isn't a launch title, Resident Evil: Mercenaries isn't a launch title. You'll be waiting.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars looks good, thats the one I'll be picking up.

I was just about to ask why there was no love for Monkey Ball. Street Fighter is a definite and Splinter Cell is a maybe. After that, I am definitely getting in on the two Resident Evil games and Devil Survivor. UndeadAreGo

Personally, my favorite was always Super Monkey Ball Jr. It seriously had some of the best 3D graphics on the GBA.

It started on the Gamecube as Super Monkey Ball. Then, Super Monkey Ball Jr. for the GBA, which was a straight up port of the Gamecube version (dumbed down a bit to fit, obviously). After that came Super Monkey Ball 2, yadda yadda yadda...

Street Fighter, DOA, and Nintendog + Cats all look... eh, alright. I won't say I'm not disappointed with the launch lineup, but it's only a matter of time when some must-have games come out.

Splinter Cell isn't a launch title, Resident Evil: Mercenaries isn't a launch title. You'll be waiting.
