I was wondering about the VC and what measures you think Nintendo would take in order to keep minorities away (as if it mattered), or would that whole Rare c*ckblock go into effect again?

it would be class
but unfortunatley Rare own the licence so therefore Microsoft would have to allow them to release it its why theres no goldeneye, perfect dark or jet force gemini on the VC

Well, the reason I reconsidered that Rare response was due to Donkey Kong Country, which Rare does not own full rights to because DK is a character protected under Nintendo. Isn't Conker as well?Â
exactly
in case you didnt notice banjo and conker were both left out of diddy kong racing ds because rare owned the rights
goldeneye would never be released as microsoft and activision(correct me if im wrong) would have to give permission
activision would have to because they own the james bond licence

Acually, M$ Cant say anyting about Goldeneye on the VC, as Rare never owned the rights to it.
Sure, they Own the Engine (witch was used on Prefect Dark and its Prequil for the 360), but not the game itself, Activision hold all rights to all Bond games, past and Present.Â
So ninty would just have to go through Activision to get GE on the VC.

Actually, Rare DO own the game rights to Goldeneye. What they don't have is the license to publish a 007 game, Activision have that exclusive right. It was Nintendo who had this license back when Goldeneye was published and they allowed Rare to work with the 007 franchise. If Goldeneye was to appear on VC, Activision would need to agree to a 007 game being released and Rare/Microsoft (because Rare is wholely owned by Microsoft) would need to give permission for the game rights (the 'code' of the game) to be released.
